The Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society provides a variety of resources to assist the pediatric endocrinology nurse.

Position Statements: Learn the official position of the Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society on many pediatric endocrinology issues.

Preceptor Program: The PENS Preceptor Program is a unique benefit exclusively for members of the Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society (PENS). The PENS Education Committee developed the program to help nurses new to the specialty. Now in its 8th year, the PENS Preceptor Program matches nurses (preceptees) with one of PENS’ 12 experts in the field of pediatric endocrinology nursing (preceptors) for a 1–3 day observational visit to the preceptor’s work setting.

PENS Nursing Resource Manual: The PENS Nursing Resource Manual is a publication that is published in chapters with information for specific endocrine diagnoses that can be utilized as a resource by the healthcare Professional. The long-range plan is to incorporate independent study to obtain contact hours with potential development into a textbook.

Clinical Handbook of Pediatric Endocrinology: The Clinical Handbook of Pediatric Publishing was written by PENS members and published in 2003 by Quality Medical Publishing (St. Louis, MO).
