The PENS Nursing Resource Manual is a publication that is published in chapters with information for specific endocrine diagnoses that can be utilized as a resource by the healthcare Professional. The long-range plan is to incorporate independent study to obtain contact hours with potential development into a textbook.

The PENS Nursing Resource Manual is a copyrighted publication of PENS, consisting of individual chapters authored by nurses who are experts in the field of pediatric endocrinology. Writers follow established guidelines and all chapters are subject to a review process. Clinical topics apply directly to the care of pediatric endocrine patients and their families and include case presentations, clinical tips and tools.
 
The Society provides assistance for members interested in developing materials for the PENS Nursing Resource Manual. Manual Chapter Author Guidelines are available to download. A Manual Chapter Author Grant is available for the purpose of providing financial support to active members authoring an original or revised chapter for the PENS Manual.
